TOBB ARTVIN HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT
In the project, which was designed on the existing school parcel in the city center of Artvin, it was aimed to benefit positively from the sloped topography of the area and the limitations of the construction. The slope of the land has been evaluated in such a way that the workshops can receive natural light and natural air, in addition to creating their own terrases and the necessary technical infrastructure. On the other hand, the upper floor of the workshops which the canteen opens to is designed as a multi-purpose terrace which the whole school could use. Moreover, the circulation shafts of the building were not only narrowed down but also divided into three different parts. Taking the climatic data into account, the hipped roof was reinterpreted for the project,
