The project area is located at Sucuzade district, in Adana. Besides, the area has geographical a neighborhood where historical tumulus of Tepebağ, and registered historical buildings can be seen. In the urban memory of Adana, historical pattern has been fading away day by day. From his point of view, both the traces from historical pattern of the city and the contemporary potentials are aimed and considered in the design of the project. In the proposed project urban space connects with organically the daily lives of citizens in Adana and the modern reading of urban landscape experiments at the same time. It is intended to be both ‘’familiar’’ and ‘’different’’.

Therefore, the project defines an “urban interface” with its urban space organization.
All the buildings, voids, courtyards, squares, canopies and shades are intended to create ‘’an urban space of encounters’’. A forgotten behavior ‘’ random encounters’’ is aimed to revive in every hour of the day with fulfilling differentiating needs in the flow of everyday life.

This facet of the project is a source of inspiration for urban coexistence. Public life and bios politicos in the Greek city state were created in the marketplace and agora. The traces from Greek City’s can be seen in wide public canopy at Altın Koza Performance Center, its open foyer, courtyards, open air cinema, arcades, underpass and shopping in the streets. The location of the project, its functions, and its users shape and connect the commercial, cultural and artistic facilities with the young population of Adana in a public space.
